Long-term data strengthen evidence for Italfarmaco's Duvyzat in Duchenne muscular dystrophy

Italian drugmaker Italfarmaco has presented new clinical data supporting the long-term use of Duvyzat (givinostat) in Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), including MRI findings suggesting the therapy may help preserve muscle tissue and reduce fat infiltration.

The data were presented at the 19th International Congress on Neuromuscular Diseases in Florence, Italy, and include new analyses from the pivotal Phase III EPIDYS trial and its ongoing open-label extension study.
