Measles resurgence could cost USA nearly $8 billion over five years
New research from researchers at the University of Florida, University of Maryland and Yale School of Public Health has found that if measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) immunization rates continue to fall, even by just a percentage point, measles could re-establish itself as an endemic disease in the USA within years.
