
Nearly 8,000 clinical trial sites have been disrupted by the USA's escalating war on Iran, according to new analysis from clinical data firm Phesi, highlighting the fragility of globally distributed drug development.
The company found that 4,361 active studies, or 6.7% of trials worldwide, have been affected, spanning 7,958 investigator sites. Phase III trials account for the largest share, with 2,732 impacted sites, reflecting their scale and long duration.
