
Australian biotech Neurizon (ASX: NUZ) has signed a strategic supply agreement with US animal health group Elanco (NYSE: ELAN), giving it long-term access to human-use monepantel for its lead neurodegenerative disease candidate NUZ-001.
The deal secures scalable Good Manufacturing Practice supply of monepantel, the active pharmaceutical ingredient in NUZ-001. Neurizon said the arrangement will support future clinical, regulatory and commercialization work, including the creation of a strategic inventory holding.
