
US biopharma Neurocrine Biosciences (Nasdaq: NBIX) has appointed three senior vice presidents, a move the San Diego company cast as reinforcing its leadership team as it shifts from a business built largely on one product toward a broader neuroscience and rare disease group.
The sole external hire is Bret Paulson, who becomes senior vice president of market access. He joins from Japanese drugmaker Otsuka (Tokyo: 4578), where he led market access and channel strategy, and previously held commercial roles at Amgen (Nasdaq: AMGN) and Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY).
