
French health company Opella revealed it has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art production line for Enterogermina in Mexico following a $70 million investment.
The global probiotics market is experiencing strong double-digit growth (12.8%¹), driven by increasing consumer awareness of the connection between gut microbiome health and overall wellbeing, noted Opella, which until last year was 50% owned by Sanofi (Euronext: SAN).
