Opella launches MASLD awareness initiative aimed at earlier diagnosis

French health company Opella’s liver health brand Essentiale has launched a new healthcare professional education initiative designed to improve earlier recognition and treatment of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), formerly known as fatty liver disease.

The program, called The Fatty Liver Constellation, was unveiled at the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) Congress 2026 in Barcelona, Spain, and aims to help clinicians identify symptom patterns that may indicate early-stage MASLD.
