Paladin buys ex-US rights to Somaxon's insomnia drug Silenor for up to $129 million
US drugmaker Somaxon Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: SOMX) has entered into an exclusive collaboration with Canada’s Paladin Labs (TSX: PLB) under which Paladin will commercialize Silenor (doxepin) for the treatment of insomnia characterized by difficulty with sleep maintenance in Canada, South America and Africa.
