
US pharma giant Pfizer (NYSE: PFE) has reported a Phase III win for Talzenna (talazoparib) plus Xtandi (enzalutamide), setting up a potential broader role for the regimen in metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer.
The TALAPRO-3 trial showed that adding the PARP inhibitor to Xtandi cut the risk of radiographic progression or death by 52% versus placebo plus Xtandi in men with homologous recombination repair gene-mutated metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer.
