
Trade group the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) has cited new polling in a renewed attack on US government drug price controls, arguing that voters are more concerned about health insurers and pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) than proposals to expand 'Most Favored Nation' (MFN) pricing.
The US pharma trade group said, through its Voters for Cures campaign, that voters support lowering out-of-pocket medicine costs but remain skeptical that linking US drug prices to those paid overseas would address barriers to treatment access.
