
French drugmaker Pierre Fabre has won European Commission approval for Braftovi (encorafenib) in combination with cetuximab and FOLFOX as a first-line treatment for adults with BRAF V600E-mutant metastatic colorectal cancer.
The decision moves Braftovi earlier in the treatment pathway, expanding its European use beyond patients whose disease had already been treated with systemic therapy.
