Price setting policies put cancer gains in jeopardy, says PhRMA

New data marks a major milestone in the nation’s fight against cancer: the five‑year relative survival rate for all cancers has reached 70% for people diagnosed between 2015 and 2021, according to the American Cancer Society.

Since the mid-1990s, especially dramatic survival gains for historically fatal cancers include: myeloma: 32% to 62%; liver cancer: 7% to 22%; and lung cancer: 15% to 28%
