Second Phase III success for COMP360 psilocybin sends Compass 38% higher

Compass Pathways (Nasdaq: CMPS) has announced the successful achievement of the primary endpoint in the ongoing Phase III COMP006 trial, the second of two Phase III studies of COMP360, a synthetic, proprietary formulation of psilocybin, for treatment-resistant depression (TRD). 

Psilocybin is a psychedelic compound and is used recreationally under the street name ‘magic mushrooms’, though it is now being trialled as a potential treatment for various mental health conditions.
