
Japanese pharma Takeda (TYO: 4502) reported revenue of about 3,411 billion yen ($21.8 billion) for the nine months to December 31, down 3% year on year, while basic earnings per share rose 3% to roughly $0.88. Profit before tax increased 11%, supported by cost controls and lower financing expenses.
