TGA to review the benefits and risks of Tavneos

Australia is the latest country to undertake a review of the benefits and risks of Tavneos (avacopan), the regulator Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) announced today.

Marketed by US biotech major Amgen (Nasdaq: AMGN), Tavneos is a medicine used in the treatment of antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis, a rare autoimmune condition that affects small blood vessels.
