
The White House has announced that nine additional pharmaceutical manufacturers have signed most-favored-nation (MFN) pricing agreements with the Trump administration, bringing the total number of companies with such deals to 26, covering an estimated 89% of the US branded drug market.
These nine companies are Swiss ophthalmic device maker Alcon (NYSE/SIX: ALC), Japanese pharma major Astellas Pharma (TSE: 4503), Chinese-American biotech BeOne Medicines (Nasdaq: ONC), US rare disease specialist BridgeBio Pharma (Nasdaq: BBIO), Australian biotherapeutics group CSL Limited (ASX: CSL), Japanese pharma major Kyowa Kirin (TYO: 4151), Indian generics major Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (BSE/NSE: SUNPHARMA), Israeli pharma major Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (NYSE: TEVA), and Belgian biopharmaceutical company UCB (Euronext Brussels: UCB).
