
The USA and Europe reached an agreement yesterday on import duties, but the details are still being worked out. However, the Dutch Association of Innovative Medicines (VIG) is concerned about the uncertainties surrounding import duties on European medicines under the new trade agreement between the EU and the USA.
US President Donald Trump stated that medicines are excluded from the agreement, while Commission President von der Leyen confirmed that medicines are subject to a 15% tariff cap.
