Uniphar expands US operations with senior appointments

Irish healthcare group Uniphar (LSE: UPR) has unified its US businesses under one banner, rebranding RRD Biopharma Development, Uniphar Clinical, Diligent Health Solutions and BESTMSLs as Uniphar Pharma Services US. The move consolidates the company’s clinical, medical and commercial operations across New York, North Carolina, Washington DC and Mississippi.

The integration follows steady expansion in the USA, where Uniphar has opened a new 65,000 sq ft GMP- and GDP-compliant pharmaceutical facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. The site supports both clinical and commercial supply chains. Uniphar said the unified model enhances its ability to deliver “molecule to market” solutions for pharma, medtech and biotech clients.
