
US biotech company Veradermics (NYSE: MANE) saw its shares climb more than a tenth on Wednesday after reporting mid-stage results for a drug it hopes will become the first oral treatment approved by the FDA for female pattern hair loss.
While gains fell away on Thursday, the stock is now trading more than five times above the $17 level at which it debuted following its February initial public offering (IPO).
