
In a further development in the rivalry between Novo Nordisk (NOV: N) and Eli Lilly (NYSE; LLY) in the obesity space, the Danish pharma major today said it will present the ORION study at the upcoming Obesity Medicine Association’s annual conference in San Diego showing that Wegovy (semaglutide) tablets 25mg was associated with significantly greater mean weight loss than orforglipron 36mg in a population-adjusted indirect treatment comparison.
