Pharma Privatization In Mongolia

Mongolia's State Property Committee has announced the privattiation ofa large number of pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies, reports SPC. The Kherulen pharmaceuticals producer in the Kentai region will be privatized, as will the Mongolian medicine hospital in the same region. Also to be sold to the private sector are the Altan Gagnuur pharmacy in the Bayan-Khongor region and in the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar, the Baganuur pharmacy supply company and the Mon En Zim pharmaceutical raw materials producer.

Nearly all of the pharmacies that are to be privatized are in Ulaanbaatar, according to the report.
