Denmark’s spending on medicines down 12% since 2010, reports Lif

Total public spending on medicines in Denmark continues to fall, reported the Danish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry (Lif).

It said that in 2013 public spending on medicine is expected to fall by more than 300 million Danish kroner ($54 million).

The spending is significantly down on last year and, by the end of this year, public spending on medicines will down by almost 800 million kroner since 2010.
