GSK CFO Simon Dingemans to step down

UK-based drugmaker GlaxoSmithKline (LSE: GSK) has announced that its chief financial officer Simon Dingemans is to retire.

Mr Dingemans, who joined GSK in 2011, will leave in May 2019. The firm says it will conduct a thorough global search both internally and externally to identify a successor.

As CFO and a member of the board, Mr Dingemans has been responsible for finance and a number of other functions, including technology and IT, real estate and procurement.
