AstraZeneca to announce Chennai investment as part of UK-India trade summit

Representatives from AstraZeneca (LSE: AZN) will take part in a British trade delegation visiting Delhi and Mumbai for a UK-India trade summit.

Led by the British Chancellor ot the Exchequer Philip Hammond and Bank of England Governor Mark Carney, the delegation will focus on the UK-India trade relationship after the UK leaves the European Union.

As part of the visit, AstraZeneca will announce a further expansion of its Global Technology Center (GTC) in Chennai, with the opening of a new facility that will focus on IT and non-IT services for the firm.
