Hi-Tech Pharma to acquire Mexican OTC/nutra company

USA-based Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: HITK) has reached agreement to acquire Advanced Pharmaceuticals and Nutritionals (APN) for an undisclosed amount.

APN is one of the fastest-growing over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and dietary supplement companies operating in Mexico, Central America and South America, with headquarters in Guadalajara, Mexico. The transaction will enhance Hi-Tech's leading dietary supplements and OTC product offering and expand its distribution through APN's strong established platform.
