
Leading Russian drug producers have called on the national parliament (State Duma) for a complex of measures aimed at stabilizing the current situation in the market.
According to the drugmakers, the current situation in the market remains serious, and is reflected by the ever increasing drug prices in Russia, as well as the growing shortage of drugs, especially cheap ones, in the local market.
One of the major reasons for this is the production of domestic drugs from imported substances, prices for which in recent months have significantly increased and the growth of other costs.
