Otsuka and xFOREST to work on RNA-based drug development

Japanese drugmaker Otsuka (TYO: 4578) has entered into a collaboration agreement with Kyoto-based RNA specialist xFOREST Therapeutics.

The companies will work together with the aim of creating RNA structure-targeted drugs in multiple diseases.

The collaboration will focus on the proprietary FOREST technology, a platform for integrating different data sources.
