
The Russian government has approved the allocation of 140 billion roubles ($1.72 billion) annually for the treatment of cancer patients for years to come.
The funds are included in the budget of the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund, which is designed for the period of 2026-2028.
As part of state plans, the funds will be distributed among the Russian regions in the form of inter-budget transfers from the federal budget.
