USA ready for fall with another updated coronavirus jab

The US Food and Drug Administration has updated the emergency use authorization for the COVID-19 vaccine developed by US biotech Novavax (Nasdaq: NVAX).

Available in the country since July 2022, Nuvaxovid has been created using a more traditional vaccine technology, compared with the leading mRNA-based jabs.

As with other options, a variant of the vaccine has been designed to target the currently circulating viral strains.
