Pharmavit Shareholders Agree To B-MS Unit Merge

- Shareholders in the Pharmavit drugs and vitamins producer in Hungary have voted to merge the company with Bristol-Myers Squibb Trade and Services Kft as of September 25, according to MTI Econews. Pharmavit is 99% owned by B-MS. B-MS Trade and Sevices Kft recorded net sales of 450 million Hungarian forint ($2.9 million) in 1995, while Pharmavit saw net sales of 4.92 billion forint (Marketletter August 12).
