Netherlands-based biotechnology company Pharming fell 21% deeper into loss in the full year 2008, compared to 2007, as the firm continued to progress its pipeline products towards launch.
Revenue for the year was flat on 2007 at 700,000 euros ($895,860), while R&D costs rose 9% to 20.9 million euros. The firm's net loss worsened to 26.0 million euros, or 0.28 euros loss per share, versus 21.4 million euros, or 0.24 euros loss per share.
