- A Phase I trial with Alkermes' ProLease (sustained-release human growth hormone for injection) has demonstrated that a single dose resulted in elevated levels of hGH, insulin-like growth factor and the latter's binding protein, IGFBP-3, for three to four weeks post-injection in patients with growth hormone deficiency. This joint collaboration with Genentech is being extended to a Phase I/II clinical trial.
