PhRMA says: "Rx drug benefit is working"
A senior vice president of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) has issued a vigorous response to an editorial in the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper, which claimed that patients would benefit from government-negotiated drug prices for the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit (Marketletters passim). Ken Johnson wrote that where "governments set prices...patient choice disappears."
