Polish drugmaker Polfa Kutno intends to streamline its operations thisyear by possibly purchasing the infusion fluids unit of one of its rivals or forming a joint venture.
The company's president, Wiktor Tomusiak, said PK was considering potential deals with either state-owned Polfa Lublin or Terpol, although he pointed out his group could increase production capacity on its own if such a deal fell through.
