Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is holding a public consultation on a draft report concerning a new five-year plan for facilitating clinical trials. The MHLW proposes that the number of core hospitals of medical facilities for conducting clinical trials as local bases through the nation will total 18 and 30, respectively, to speed up and efficiently implement clinical trials in Japan.
