Recipharm takes over AZ Swedish bio facility
Anglo-Swedish drug major AstraZeneca has formally transferred its specialist biomanufacturing facility in Sodertalje, Sweden, to local contract development and manufacturing company Recipharm AB.
The transaction completed on January 1 and the facility adds mammalian recombinant protein and monoclonal antibody development and production capabilities to the group's existing biopharmaceutical services.
