Results Of ISIS' Antisense Drug Trials
- ISIS Pharmaceuticals has reported results of a trial that demonstrates the efficacy of its antisense drug ISIS 5132/CGP 698464A in tumor growth restriction in both cell culture and animals. It inhibits the mRNA that codes for C-raf kinase, a cell proliferator, in a dose-dependent manner. ISIS is developing the compound in collaboration with Ciba; the results are published in Nature Medicine (June issue).
