To encourage patients to sign up for its new Automated Courtesy Refill program that makes it easier to refill their prescriptions, US drugstore chain Rite Aid is giving those who enroll a chance to win a 2008 Chevy Malibu Hybrid car, valued at $26,000, and $3,000 in gas gift cards.
Rite Aid today announced its Automated Courtesy Refills Sweepstakes running September 1 through December 31. The free courtesy refill program automatically fills a prescription before it runs out. Rite Aid will call customers when prescriptions are ready for pick-up. The drugstore will also contact a customer's physician for prescription renewals. Every prescription filled with Rite Aid's Automated Courtesy Refills gives the customer another entry in the sweepstakes drawing.
Medicaid, Medicare Part B, PACE, PAAD, EPIC and any government funded program prescriptions are not eligible for the Rite Aid Courtesy Refills Sweepstakes. In New Jersey, the offer is valid only for citizens 60 years or older, and is not valid in New York State. Certain prescriptions may not be eligible and other limitations may apply. California law requires that residents must authorize Rite Aid to contact them by mail or phone at their home if they should win.
