French drug major Sanofi-Aventis has begun the construction of a 350.0 million-euro ($447.1 million) facility in anticipation of the approval of its candidate vaccine for the Dengue virus. The firm hopes that the plant will begin manufacturing its vaccine in 2013, following a forecast 2012 marketing authorization. The company says the facility, which is situated just north of Lyon, is its biggest-ever industrial investment.
