Sanofi recommends dose of not more than 100mg/day for Modalim
- In the UK, Sanofi Winthrop is recommending that the maximum dose of its lipid-lowering drug Modalim (ciprofibrate) should not exceed 100mg/day, even though it is licensed for doses up to 200mg/day. Higher doses of the drug (and of others in the same class) have been associated with rhabdomyolysis.
