Searle's Covera-HS Nears US Market
- G D Searle and Alza have been sent an approvable letter in the USA for their new once-daily verapamil drug, Covera-HS, for the treatment of hypertension and angina. The product uses one of Alza's proprietary drug-delivery technologies, and upon full approval will be marketed by Searle under a royalty-generating license with Alza.
