Shionogi close to US Ph II results on obesity drug
Mid-stage results are expected this spring on a potential blockbuster in development by Japanese drugmaker Shionogi, reports the Nikkei Weekly. S-2367, an oral, centrally-acting anti-obesity drug which reduces appetite and enhances patient energy expenditure, is currently in Phase II clinical testing.
