Swedish pharmacy privatization begins
Sweden's parliament has approved a plan to end the pharmacy monopoly and privatize the sector, with major changes to the state pharmacy group Apoteket AB. The group is being forced to give up two-thirds of its total of 946 pharmacy outlets.
