Switzerland is first to approve Novartis' Tasigna
Switzerland has become the first nation to approve Novartis' Tasigna (nilotinib) for patients with chronic myeloid leukemia who are resistant or intolerant to Glivec (imatinib). The approval is based on the high response rate that the drug achieved in CML sufferers in trials.
