SYNAVANT Inc, claiming to be the first pharmaceutical relationshipmanagement solutions provider, has been created through IMS Health's spin-off of its Strategic Technologies and Clark-O'Neill divisions.
SYNAVANT says its products include Pharbase, a physician database, and "advanced interactive marketing services tailored to the health care industry." The firm "is offering what our clients requested," said chairman and chief executive Wayne Yetter (who, prior to joining IMS in 1999, was president and CEO of Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp). He added that, "through our solutions, we are able to help our clients bring their products to market faster and more effectively." For more details, visit: www.synavant.com.
