- Synthelabo has launched its schizophrenia agent Solian(amisulpride) in the UK. It is a highly selective antipsychotic with a lower level of extrapyramidal symptoms than conventional neuroleptics, says the company. Amisulpride has been available in France since 1987 and is also available in Portugal. Launches in a number of other European countries are planned for 1997 and 1998.
