US biopharmaceutical company Trubion has announced the extension of its research partnership with drug major Wyeth for another year. The accord will now run until December 29, 2009 and includes the mid-stage rheumatoid arthritis treatment TRU-015, among other CD20-targetting candidates. The extension will result in Wyeth investing $3.2 million of additional funding into the venture. Shares in Trubion rose 8% to $5.69 in reponse.
