Staff at Merial, the world's leading animal health company, a joint venture between US drug major Merck & Co and France's Sanofi-Aventis, are being questioned after a government report suggested that employees at a research facility in Pirbright, UK, could be responsible for a recent outbreak of foot and mouth disease.
