US Pharmacopeia to open office and laboratory in China
The US Pharmacopeia's Board of Trustees has approved the establishment of a USP facility in China, consisting of an office and laboratory. This will allow the US body to work with Chinese manufacturers, the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and other constituencies to ensure the quality of medicines. The USP-China operation will be the second international unit, USP-India having been opened in February this year.
