USA's CDC names new director for health promotion
Kathleen Toomey has been named as the new director of the Coordinating Center for Health Promotion, a part of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In this post, Dr Toomey will lead the CDC's efforts that focus on chronic diseases, population health, disabilities, birth defects and other reproductive outcomes.
